Jermaine Marshall decides not to go pro, will transfer instead

By Jeff Borzello | College Basketball Writer

The transfer market just added another quality prospect.

Jermaine Marshall, who left Penn State back in May and said he was pursuing a professional career, has decided to transfer to another college instead.

“He looked at playing professionally but decided he wanted to play another year in college,” Jermaine's father, Jerome, told “He received his release on Friday and he doesn't know where he wants to go yet.” also reported that Marshall will graduate on Aug. 10 and is expected to be able to play immediately.

Marshall would have been one of the top returning scorers in the Big Ten, averaging 15.3 points last season.
