Louisville transfer Zach Price lands at Missouri

By Jeff Borzello | College Basketball Writer

Since Frank Haith arrived at Missouri, the Tigers have built their program with a number of transfers. And it looks like that trend isn't stopping soon.

Former Louisville big man Zach Price announced via Twitter on Sunday that he was heading to Missouri.

Price, a 6-foot-10 center from Cleveland, didn't play much during his first two seasons at Louisville. This past season, the big man averaged just 1.3 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.7 minutes. However, the former four-star prospect is a decent low-post scorer and has the potential to be effective around the rim.

After sitting out the upcoming season, Price will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Missouri had four former transfers average double figures last season, with Jabari Brown, Alex Oriakhi, Keion Bell and Earnest Ross all making an impact. Former Tulsa transfer Jordan Clarkson will be eligible the upcoming season, and Haith already picked up Baylor guard Deuce Bello back in May.
