VIDEO: Butler mascot training montage (yes, that's right)

Butler is now officially a member of the Big East. To mark the transition, the school has put together a video montage of its mascot going through training to meet program standards.

Yes, you read that sentence correctly. Click the video and see.

This is no surprise, really. Butler has marketed itself well, and this video of Blue III (nicknamed "Trip") is the latest example of the school taking advantage of that soft spot in most every human's heart: dog love. Blue II recently "retired," slobbering the way for Trip to jiggle his way into this role.

Yes, you read that sentence correctly.

And, yes, the Bulldogs take their Bulldogs this seriously -- and jovially.

Pretty great video, save for Brad Stevens' acting. Turns out there is one thing the young coach can't do all that well.
