VIDEO: Jeronne Maymon is back -- with boa constrictors

By Jeff Borzello | College Basketball Writer

I know many of you have wanted to see Tennessee forward Jeronne Maymon hanging out with boa constrictors while spoken-word Johnny Cash and then Kanye West blare in the background.

Well, now you have that chance.

Maymon had high expectations heading into the 2012-13 season, but missed the entire year with a knee injury. The 6-foot-7 power forward averaged 12.7 points and 8.1 points back in 2011-12, and he is expected to be at full strength for the upcoming campaign.

As a result, Tennessee released the above video. The first half is Maymon and a boa constrictor – read this story about the video, by the way – along with a montage of various exercises during Maymon's rehab process. There is even a revised version of Johnny Cash's “Mean as Hell.” Then the second half comes with Kanye West's “Black Skinhead” and highlights of Maymon from his last healthy season.

He is back, indeed.
