Plenty of books have been written about arguably the greatest college coach of all time, UCLA's John Wooden, but there's never been a true, full-fledged, lifetime biography of the man -- until now.
CBS Sports college basketball analyst Seth Davis and CBS producer Shawn Robbins released a book trailer on Friday for Wooden: A Coach's Life, which is due for release in January. The book promises to reveal more of who Wooden was outside of his Pyramid of Success and all of the known achievements he brought to himself and UCLA during his time. With all of the good, the trailer seems to hint at unknown struggles and challenges Wooden faced behind closed doors.
Wooden died at 99 years old on June 4, 2010, just a few months shy of reaching 100. He finished with a 664-162 record, an .8039 win percentage, fourth all-time in the sport.
