PHOTO: Nevada strays away from normal colors in alternate-uni look

I think the most critic-proof color in the entire color spectrum is any variation on sky-blue. And the Nevada Wolf Pack will be implementating such a shade for an upcoming game this season. The men's team will done the hue in the team's game Chattanooga on Nov. 22.

"Over the past several years, the Nevada Athletics Department, in conjunction with Nike, has hosted N7 games at Wolf Pack events to honor Native Americans Heritage Month (November)," according to the school. "Established in 2000, N7 is inspired by the Native American ecological concept of Seven Generations. This season marks the first time the men's and women's basketball teams will wear a specific uniform on N7 night. Turquoise is one of the colors used to promote N7 and was chosen as the uniform color for this season's games."

It's the only game for the men's team this year that they'll don these jerseys. The team's colors are silver and navy blue. And no complaints here. I dig that look.

Nevada's Deonte Burton, by the way, is No. 71 on our top 100 players list.
