Georgia Tech's Gregory receives contract extension

Georgia Tech coach Brian Gregory has received a one-year contract extension through the 2017-18 season, Athletic Director Mike Bobinski announced Tuesday.

Gregory, who originally signed a six-year contract when he came to Atlanta after coaching Dayton, is currently in his third season with the Yellow Jackets.

Georgia Tech is 2-0 so far this season and the Yellow Jackets' 88-57 victory vs. Presbyterian on Friday was the 200th victory of Gregory's career.

Gregory is 29-35 at Georgia Tech and is 201-129 in his 11-year coaching career.
