Louisville junior guard Kevin Ware appeared in Kentucky's Barren County Court today and plead guilty to two charges dealing with speeding from the night of Oct. 26.
Ware was pulled over while driving a friend's 2013 Dodge Challenger, clocked at 95 miles per hour in a 45 MPH work zone. Ware missed his court date for the infraction last week, but showed up Monday and saw his fine from the judge leveled at $268, according to a court clerk that contacted CBSSports.com.
The matter of the car Ware was driving at the time of the ticket was cleared last week by Louisville's compliance office.
Ware's violation "was amended to speeding 25 MPH over" the limit, according to the clerk, and the guilty plea means Ware has until May 23, 2014, to pay the fine.
Ware scored two points in six minutes off the bench in Louisville's 93-84 loss to North Carolina on Sunday.
