McDonald's All-American Chris Walker is enrolled at Florida

McDonald's All-American Chris Walker has been admitted to Florida and is eligible to practice immediately, though he still hasn't been cleared to compete in actual games.

Walker is expected to practice with Florida on Saturday.

Whether he'll be eligible for Tuesday's game against Memphis is unclear.

Walker is a 6-foot-10 freshman who finished with 30 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocks in last season's high school state championship game. His enrollment at Florida was delayed because of academic issues. He's the 15th McDonald's All-American to enroll at Florida since Billy Donovan became the Gators' coach before the 1996-97 season.

Florida is 7-2 and ranked 12th in the Top 25 (and one).
