Texas A&M lands SMU transfer Jones

By Jon Rothstein | CBS Sports

SMU transfer Jalen Jones has committed to Texas A&M, CBSSports.com has learned.

The 6-7 Jones led the Mustangs in scoring and rebounding last season (14.0 PPG, 7.7 RPG) and will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Jones will first enroll at Texas A&M beginning next semester.

The Aggies are expected to file a waiver with the NCAA with the hope that Jones will be able to play immediately.
