During a press conference Monday morning, Billy Donovan said Gators star Casey Prather will miss a second straight game due to a bone bruise in his right knee.
Prather has been the breakout player in college basketball this year, becoming the go-to guy for No. 10, 13-2 Florida. He's averaging 17.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He didn't play Saturday, when Florida went on the road and ended Arkansas' 23-game home winning streak.
Donovan said Prather is "progressing" with the injury but did not give a timetable for his likely return. Donovan also said Scottie Wilbekin and Pat Young are "not 100 percent" but will be playing against Georgia. Wilbekin tweaked an ankle injury last week and Young has also been battling some knee soreness.
The Gators play at home to Georgia on Tuesday, then have a road game against 8-5 Auburn Saturday.
