One day removed from the worst roster news possible, Colorado coach Tad Boyle shared another injury bulletin for the Buffs. On ESPN Tuesday afternoon, Boyle said Tre'Shaun Fletcher is out 6-8 weeks due to a knee issue that required recent surgery but was not due to an ACL tear.

The exact nature of the injury was not clarified by Boyle on Tuesday's telecast.

Fletcher, a freshman wing, is averaging 3.5 points in 10 minutes per game this season for the 14-3 Buffaloes, who play at home against UCLA on Thursday and then are home to USC Saturday.

While Fletcher isn't a big player of impact, this is a compound issue for Boyle's ball club. Without him and starting point guard Spencer Dinwiddie, Colorado is now down to a seven-player rotation, based off what Boyle was using prior to these two injuries. This team was in the mix to compete with Arizona for the Pac-12 title as recently as last weekend, but now it's more about treading water and making the most of a season without its best player in Dinwiddie.
