Syracuse big man DaJuan Coleman out for year with leg injury

By Jeff Borzello | College Basketball Writer

Syracuse has the pieces to make a run to the Final Four this season, but the Orange will have to do it without sophomore big man DaJuan Coleman.

Coleman will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his injured leg, the Post-Standard (Syracuse, N.Y.) reported Monday afternoon.

Coleman has missed five of the last six games, playing three minutes against Virginia Tech back on Jan. 7.

Last season, he missed much of Big East play after undergoing surgery on the MCL in his left knee.

The 6-foot-9 Coleman averaged 4.3 points and 4.2 rebounds this season.
