KU's body of work keeps Jayhawks at No. 7 in Top 25 (and one)

Kansas lost a road game to a rival in OT late Monday -- after which Holly Rowe jumped on the scorer's table to ask Kansas State players questions about the slight upset while a few folks jumped on Twitter to ask me how far I'd drop the Jayhawks in the Top 25 (and one).

Answer: Not at all.

Oh, I looked at it and considered it.

Trust me, I did.

But the Jayhawks still have a national-best six wins against the top 30 of the RPI, and eight wins against the top 50 -- the latter of which places them in a tie with Arizona for the national lead. And they still have zero losses outside of the top 30, which is something only four others can claim. So, after examining this from every angle, I can't find any reason to have anybody ranked below KU ranked ahead of KU.

If you can, by all means, make your case in the comments section.

(But I bet you can't.)

I'll read the comments and respond to the smart ones.

Good luck.

Anyway ...

The Top 25 (and one) updates every morning and also on Sunday nights.
