Joe Biden called up Tyler Ennis on Thursday

By Matt Norlander | College Basketball Writer

OK, you know you've done something big when the vice president is getting on the horn to chat you up.

Barely 12 hours removed from the defining shot of his career to date, Tyler Ennis had Joe Biden give him a buzz. (The veep is a Syracuse law school alumnus.)

Biden called Ennis' winning shot to improve Cuse to 24-0 an "amazing 35-foot buzzer beater," according to the AP.

Syracuse's 24-game win streak is now the longest in school history. The second-in-command recently showed his SU allegiance by donning a "BEAT DUKE" shirt prior to Syracuse's epic home OT win over the Blue Devils.

Biden's the best. Dude just wants to crack a smile, bust some chops and legislate like a boss.
