Wisconsin wins at Michigan, moves to No. 12 in the Top 25 (and one)

Wisconsin was really strong to the start the season. Then the Badgers got inexplicably bad. But now they're undeniably good again -- evidence being a four-game winning streak featuring wins over Michigan State, Minnesota and Michigan. And that's why they're back in the top 15 of the Top 25 (and one) ... because their victories are really, really strong.

You see the Top 25 (and one) below?

The Badgers now own wins over No. 2 Florida, No. 13 Michigan State, No. 14 Iowa, No. 15 Saint Louis, No. 18 Virginia and No. 21 Michigan. Like I said, strong. So, yes, Wisconsin still has two questionable January losses on its resume (Northwestern at home; Indiana on the road), and those can't be ignored. But Bo Ryan's team suddenly looks way more like the group that started 16-0 than the group that lost five of six durng a bafflling stretch, and the fact that the Badgers project as favorites in four of their final five regular-season games suggests they should finish in the top four of the Big Ten for the 13th straight year.

Anyway ...

The Top 25 (and one) updates every morning and also on Sunday nights.

(PS: If you're a fan of a team that's lower in Sunday night's Top 25 (and one) than they were in Sunday morning's Top 25 (and one) even though they didn't play Sunday, please don't ask why they "dropped" without playing because nobody "dropped" without playing. The reason Kansas is lower is because Creighton jumped the Jayhawks with a big win and pushed them down a spot, and the reason Iowa and SLU are lower is because Creighton and Wisconsin jumped the Hawkeyes and Billikens with big wins and pushed them down two spots. If you understand numbers, this will make sense to you. If you don't, I can't help you.)
