So this certainly isn't the usual final score tweet:
Men's Basketball: Winston-Salem 76, Johnson C. Smith 76 (Final)— WSSU Athletics (@WSSU_Athletics) February 20, 2014
But that's exactly what happened in the Winston-Salem State vs. Johnson C. Smith game on Wednesday night. According to the official twitter account for WSSU, the game was tied at 76 when a player from Johnson C. Smith attempted a full-court shot at the buzzer. It hit a light fixture, breaking it and leaving it hanging by a wire.
There was a delay to try and fix the situation, but it was deemed a safety concern and the game was called.
