Loyola Marymount is not renewing the contract of head coach Max Good, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com.
Good had been at Loyola Marymount for six seasons, but will not return after an injury-filled 13-19 campaign.
He went 77-117 during his time with the Lions, winning the WCC Coach of the Year in 2012 after going 21-13. Good took over for Bill Bayno three games into the 2008-09 season, as Bayno was forced to resign due to health issues.
Good, 72, told ESPN.com that he's not ready to retire from the business.
"I'm not through coaching," he said.
One name to watch in this one could be Mike Dunlap, the former Charlotte Bobcats head coach and longtime college and NBA assistant. His name has been floating around for a couple of weeks.
The story was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
