VCU's Melvin Johnson will miss A-10 title game with knee injury

VCU's Melvin Johnson will miss Sunday's Atlantic-10 title game against St. Joseph's with a knee injury, Shaka Smart told on Saturday night.

Johnson suffered the injury during the Rams' 74-55 over George Washington and will have an MRI on Monday.

The 6-foot-3 sophomore has been the Rams best outside shooter this season and is averaging 10.6 points while hitting 39% from 3-point range.
