After a fourth straight losing season, Montana State head coach Brad Huse has resigned.

The school announced the news on Tuesday afternoon, after a morning meeting between Huse and athletic director Peter Fields.

"Brad offered his resignation during a meeting this morning, and I have accepted it," Fields said. "I want to thank him for his effort, dedication and integrity. I wish Brad and his family nothing but the best."

Montana State lost its final three games of the season this year, dropping to 14-17 overall and 9-11 in the Big Sky. Huse never won more than 15 games during his eight seasons at the helm, finishing with a 107-133 overall record during his tenure.

Huse had previously been an assistant coach at Montana and Montana State.
