Mercer pulled off the biggest upset in the Round of 64 on Friday, taking down 3-seed Duke, 78-71. That's a heck of a day for the Bears. But it got better.

Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski visited the Mercer locker room following the game to give them a little speech.

“My God,” Mercer senior Daniel Coursey said, according to The Dagger. “That's huge. Coach K is one of the most famous basketball coaches ever and for him to just come in here and tell us we're a great basketball team – that's pretty unbelievable to tell you the truth.”

Mercer had an answer for everything Duke threw at them, and overpowered the Blue Devils at the rim.

“You guys have a hell of a basketball team,” Krzyzewski said. “I love the game and you guys play the game really, really well and your coach coaches it well. If we had to be beaten, I'm glad we got beaten by a hell of a basketball team. So good luck to you.”

Mercer plays Tennessee on Sunday.
