ST. LOUIS -- Kansas freshman Joel Embiid declined to speculate about his future in the locker room following Sunday's 60-57 loss to Stanford in the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.

"I'm not worried about that right now," Embiid said.

Embiid added that he'll speak to KU's coaching staff and fellow Cameroonian Luc Mbah a Moute before deciding whether to enter the 2014 NBA Draft. There is no timetable for a decision, Embiid told

The 7-foot center, if he declares, could go No. 1 overall and would likely go no lower than third -- as long as franchises aren't concerned about back issues that robbed Embiid of the final six games of his freshman season. For what it's worth, Embiid told that he felt like he could've played Sunday. The KU trainers, he said, decided to hold him out.
