Less than two weeks after Indiana's season ended in the Big Ten tournament, the Hoosiers are already seeing roster attrition. Freshman Noah Vonleh decided on Sunday night to head to the NBA, Austin Etherington asked for his release and now the Hoosiers have more bad news.
Sophomore Jeremy Hollowell has chosen to leave Indiana and will transfer elsewhere.
Hollowell, a 6-foot-8 sophomore forward from Indianapolis, averaged 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds this season. He was expected to take on a bigger scoring role this season, but he was in and out of head coach Tom Crean's doghouse, and never really got going after a 16-point performance in the season opener.
Hollowell was formerly a top-40 recruit in the class of 2012.
