Michigan State sophomore Gary Harris will, barring a surprising change of plans, eventually announce that he's entering the 2014 NBA Draft, sources told CBSSports.com on Tuesday.

"He's going to go," one source said. "And he probably should."

Harris averaged 16.7 points and 4.0 rebounds while leading the Spartans to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. The 6-foot-4 guard is a projected lottery pick and could easily go in the top 10 based on his ability to make shots and excel on both ends of the court.

Michigan State's season ended Sunday with a loss to UConn.

The Spartans finished 29-9 despite an array of in-season injuries.
