LSU junior Johnny O'Bryant III announced at a Tuesday press conference that he would leave school to pursue the NBA.

O'Bryant is projected as a mid-40s pick -- the second round -- in CBSSports.com's mock drafts.

O'Bryant averaged 15.4 points and 7.7 rebounds. His points were up but rebounding average down from his sophomore season. LSU went 20-14 this season, falling in the NIT quarterfinals to SMU.
