With rumors swirling around the future of head coach Chris Mack at Xavier, the Musketeers are taking another personnel hit.

Redshirt junior forward Justin Martin will play his final season of eligiblity elsewhere, planning to take advantage of the graduate transfer rule this spring. He will be able to play immediately next season.

Martin, a 6-foot-6 small forward from Indianapolis, averaged 11.7 points and 5.2 rebounds this past season for Xavier. He had a terrific second half to the season, scoring in double figures in 16 of his final 21 games.

Xavier has already lost sophomore guard Semaj Christon to the NBA draft, and Mack has been targeted for the vacant head coach job at California.
