Boston University point guard Maurice Watson has transferred to Creighton, a source told CBSSports.com.

Watson confirmed the news via Twitter.

Watson will sit out the upcoming season and then have two years of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-10 Philadelphia native averaged 13.3 points and 7.1 assists this past season.

Creighton is already losing four starters from this season's 27-8 team, while four juniors will be gone after next season. The Bluejays badly needed to build for the future, and Watson should be a huge addition at the point guard spot.
