UNLV leading scorer Bryce Dejean-Jones transfers to Iowa State

By Jon Rothstein | CBS Sports

UNLV transfer Bryce Dejean-Jones has committed to Iowa State.

The 6-foot-5 guard led the Runnin Rebels in scoring last season (13.6 PPG) and will be eligible immediately since he's already graduated.

The addition of Dejean-Jones instantly makes the Cyclones a legitimate contender in the Big 12 next year along with Kansas and Oklahoma.

Fred Hoiberg has had unbelievable success with transfers over the past three years beginning with Royce White in 2012 and most recently, DeAndre Kane. Dejean-Jones fits the mold of a player who has a chance to revitalize his career under Hoiberg's watch.
