Tennessee's search to replace Cuonzo Martin as its men's basketball coach is now focused on Louisiana Tech's Michael White, multiple sources told CBSSports.com on Saturday.

Martin left UT last week to coach at California.

A source told CBSSports.com that UT has informally contacted some "A-list" candidates but that the interest hasn't been mutual. Another source told CBSSports.com that at least one potential candidate expressed no interest mostly because Tennessee's roster is in bad shape given that the Vols are losing four of their top five players from a Sweet 16 team.

White just finished his third season at Louisiana Tech, where he averaged 28 wins over the past two seasons and finished tied for first both years. The 37-year-old played four seasons at Ole Miss and spent seven seasons as an assistant at his alma mater before accepting the Louisiana Tech job in March 2011. He's the son of Duke athletic director Kevin White.
