It makes me think of the title card to Frasier.
This is Washington's new court, unveiled on Thursday.
Here's the press release, in full:
"The All-Time Winningest Home Court in collegiate basketball got a Seattle-based facelift this offseason as the University of Washington unveiled its new court design on Thursday. The highlight of the new court is a baseline-to-baseline silhouette of Seattle's iconic skyline featuring the Space Needle right near center court. The floor also features a filled-in three-point area matching the wood tint of the skyline silhouette and updated word marks along the baselines. Washington, which started playing in their arena on Dec. 27, 1927, has 946 wins inside of Alaska Airlines Arena, the most by any Division I team at its current home arena."
That's actually a pretty wild stat -- and you could could probably stump any college hoops fan outside of the Emerald City with that question.
Washington went 17-15 last season and has gone three years in a row without making the NCAA Tournament.
