Marshall transfer Kareem Canty winds up at South Florida

Marshall transfer Kareem Canty has committed to South Florida, after also considering Penn State and Auburn.

Canty averaged 16.3 points and 5.5 assists last season for the Thundering Herd and will be a huge building block for new Bulls coach Orlando Antigua, hired at South Florida in March after five years as an assistant at Kentucky.

Canty must sit out next season because in compliance with NCAA rules, and has three years of eligibility remaining.
