Ollie has been mentioned with the vacant Los Angeles Lakers job, and it was reported that Ollie was willing to meet with possible NBA suitors. Moreover, there was a report over the weekend that Ollie was looking for more money than Steve Kerr ($25 million over five years) if he was to jump to the NBA.
Ollie has been the head coach at Connecticut for two seasons, winning the national championship last month. Prior to joining the Huskies as an assistant in 2010, Ollie played in the NBA since 1997.
