Former Delaware guard Jarvis Threatt has signed with an agent and won't be returning to college, he told CBSSports.com on Friday.

Threatt -- a distant cousin of former NBA guard Sedale Threatt -- had one year of eligibility remaining after being dismissed from the Blue Hens' program in June for a repeated violation of team rules.

The 6-2 guard was arguably the most talented player in Delaware's program last season and a key reason for the Blue Hens' run to the NCAA Tournament in March.

Threatt averaged 18.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists during the 2013-14 campaign.

The Blue Hens finished 25-10 last season and lost to Michigan State in the Round of 64.
