Former UAB guard Chad Frazier is turning pro and won't return to college, his brother Sim told CBSSports.com on Wednesday morning.

The 6-3 guard received his release from the Blazers program last week. He was charged with third-degree domestic violence in April, although the case was dismissed on June 24th, per AL.com. Frazier had one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.

"He's 100 percent going pro," Sim Frazier told CBSSports.com. "We're just in the process of trying to find the right agent."

Chad Frazier was Conference USA's newcomer of the year last season and averaged 17.7 points, 4.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds.

The Blazers finished 18-13 last season.
