VIDEO: Elite 24 mixtape highlights impressive NYC setting

By Jeff Borzello | College Basketball Writer

Most all-star games end up turning into a dunk contest -- and Saturday's Under Armour Elite 24 in Brooklyn was no different.

What set the event apart, though, was the setting. The Elite 24 was held on a pier under the Brooklyn Bridge -- with views of the New York City skyline in the background. It was one of the most impressive environments I've ever seen for a basketball game.

The game itself was a fun watch, with dunks galore and plenty of isolation basketball. The crowd was into it, especially when Antonio Blakeney and Malik Newman got into a little back-and-forth one-on-one battle.

Chase Jeter (17 points, 15 rebounds) and Jaylen Brown (23 points) were standouts for Team Liberty, while Harry Hiles (16 points, 11 rebounds) led the way for Team Freedom.
