End of the Game -
A great all-around game has the Drake Bulldogs coming out the winner, while a late run by the Wichita State Shockers wasn't enough to create a "shocking" upset. The final score, Drake 73, Wichita State 63. Have a good day.
2nd Half - :37.8
I guess Wichita State figures, "Hey, we've fouled so much already, we might as well keep fouling." With the game already out of question the Bulldogs continue to go to the line, extending their lead.
2nd Half - 1:55
That's one for the road. Korver hammers in the nail in the Shockers coffin with his 5th triple of the game. While he hasn't has a huge 2nd half he's been the type of player that draws attention and in doing so, this opens up every other player's game.
2nd Half - 3:47
We take our final offical timeout and the Bulldogs answer the bell again as Emmenecker slithers his way to the basket and will have another chance at the three-point play. The walk-on has done it all in today's game and along with Korver and Houston they have established themselves as a legit triple-threat entering the tournament.
2nd Half - 5:30
Every time the Shockers seem to be making headway, the Bulldogs are able to answer right back with a big shot. There is still time left but State is going to have to compliment some of these late offensive possessions with solid defensive possessions.
