- Post-Game
Excellent coaching job by the Razorbacks John Pelfrey, particular in his handling of offense-defense substitutions in the second half. Every dead ball situation, Pelfrey had Steven Hill coming in to play defense, or leaving the court briefly in favor of offense, and it helped wear down D.J. White late in the game. Also, outstanding night on the offensive end for Sonny Weems, the game's high scorer with 31 points.
- Post-Game
Arkansas executed its game plan to perfection this evening by pushing the ball in transition on offense, and packing the paint and rebounding well on defense. What could be most impressive is the job the defense as a whole did on Big Ten scoring champ Eric Gordon, holding him to eight points on 3-of-14 shooting. Gordon even struggled from the free throw line, shooting 2-of-6.
2 H - 2:45
Arkansas calls timeout, as one of their big men was trapped in a corner after picking up his dribble. Bassett has been lights out from three-point range for the Hoosiers, but hasn't really been looking for his shot.
2 H - 4:40
Arkansas is allowing a very dangerous Indiana team to hang around in this game. Sonny Weems is having another outstanding game for the Razorbacks, with 29 points. Great job by Arkansas' Head Coach of subbing in Steven Hill for defense any chance he gets.
2 H - 9:06
Spectacular driving dunk by Eric Gordon for his first points since early in the first half. His fellow Hoosiers are certainly hoping that'll spark his offense. Then, a quick five points scored by Arkansas, and its lead has been stretched back to nine points.
