Glog (Live Commentary)
2nd Half - 5:02
Georgetown came out and put up big numbers. This was just bascially a practice game for them and no one expected UMBC to be more than a quick laugh. The Hoyas, though, face the longest current win streak in the nation when they play Davidson and its star, Curry, who has the second highest scoring average in the nation. They will put the likes of Rivers, Crawford, and Sapp on him and hope that he has an off night. The Hoyas should be a tougher challenge than Davidson's first round matchup, mostly because of Hibbert and Wallace.
2nd Half - 5:02
Just like that, after cutting it to 13, UMBC is back down by 18. Meanwhile, UMBC's Proctor is one steal away from tying the all-time record with seven.
2nd Half - 7:14
Georgetown has missed 8 of its last 9 attempts so they have put Hibbert back in.
2nd Half - 7:46
If I was John Thompson I'd be playing my second squad right now. Even G'Town's second squad is capable of closing this out.
2nd Half - 8:48
The Retrievers are scoring 1 point per minute, while Georgetown is scoring more than twice that much every minute. At this point they are just getting ready for the next game.
