Final -
Robbie Hummel scored 24 points for the Boilermakers (21-7, 10-5), while E'Twaun Moore had 18 and Keaton Grant 11. Purdue, which had won four straight, fell two games behind Big Ten-leading Michigan State and a half-game behind Illinois. The Boilermakers trailed by three midway through the second half, but couldn't stop Sims or Harris during a 19-6 run that decided the game.
Final -
The Wolverines (18-11, 8-8 Big Ten) improved to 3-4 against ranked opponents and added an important victory to the ones it had over Duke and UCLA, when both teams were ranked fourth in the nation. Michigan is trying to be in the NCAA tournament for the first time in more than a decade.
Final -
Michigan wins a huge game for them tonight as they defeat teh Purdue Boilermakers by the final score of 87-78 behind 29 points from DeShawn Sims and 27 more from Manny Harris.
2nd Half -
The game comes down to the free throw shooting capabilities of Michigan, throughout the season tehy have been a 76% shooting team from the charity stripe, but they are struggling down the stretch here and the Boilermakers are not going down easy.
2nd Half -
Michigan may be letting the big lead go to their heads as they are playing some sloppy ball right now. They do still have an 8 point lead with just over a minute to play but you never know.
