| Bullock beats the press again and catches a lob for a shot off the glass in midair. Norris Cole takes a foul and makes the free throws. It's a 19-point lead. A silence has fallen over the American Airlines Arena. We have ourselves an unbelievable upset. But 40 minutes on hardwood can only guarantee success to those who bring the better basketball. Cleveland State will go on to face Arizona. |

| Wake Forest is going to make this interesting with a full-court press but once they cross the half court Cleveland State still dribbles the ball out to the ends of the shot clock. The Deacons do cut the lead to 12 with Aminu running the fast break and throwing an insane one-handed jam. That's the kind of play they're looking for. And that's the kind of play they'll need more of. Waters calls timeout and still coaches hard. He's knowing of what Wake Forest is capable of. Bullock gets an outlet through the press and leaps for the glass. He takes a hard foul but throws an even harsher bounce off the glass for an And-1. He's got a decent line with 16 and 6 but I've got to credit him as the game's top hustler. |

| Cedric Jackson gets a few more jump shots, some flashy dribbling, the guy is just dominating. And needs just 3 rebounds and a 2 assists for a triple double. But when he goes to the bench, Norris Cole gets a quick pullup and a layup after a steal by George Tandy. Cleveland State has 9 more steals than Wake Forest. It's not how many turnovers you force, but it's how your team acts upon getting the turnover. The Vikings are up 15 with 7 minutes to go and Jackson on the bench. Teague only has 6 points but it's that he's only taken 6 attempts. Aminu and James Johnson are still hot and shooting a combined 11-for-18. |

| Wake brings out a 1-3-1 zone. And Bullock catches the ball on the baseline, kicks out to Cedric Jackson. The defense can't compensate and Jackson has another trey. Bullock gets his 2nd steal and finds Norris Cole on the top of the key. Wake is making baskets. Jeff Teague drives in for an easy score but we've gone midway through the 2nd half with Cleveland State constantly reclaiming a double-digit lead. Wake also has 12 blocks, more than twice their seasonal average, but it's just not resulting to a flow of offense. |
