| #1 seeds are now a perfect 100-0 all-time in the tourney. With that win Louisville will go on to Sunday to play either Siena but more likely Ohio State. Although the Cardinals got the win they didn't look like the best team in the tournament. Morehead gave them a good run for about half of that game. Sunday should considerably more interesting for the Cardinals. |

| With the white flag waived Morehead is going to empty the bench and let some of the other guys know what it feels like to play in the big dance. For most this will be the last time they ever get here and certainly will be the biggest stage they will ever play on. Morehead gave it their all tonight but they were outmatched by a better team. |

| Give Morehead credit, they haven't given up here. They are in the paint literally wrestling for rebounds and loose balls. Although hustle is not a problem, putting up points certainly is. 16 2nd half points isn't going to win you many games unless you're playing Penn State or Illinois. |

| Maybe it was just a touch too early for the Cardinals to so soft on Morehead. The Eagles have put together a little run and find themselves only down by manageable 14. Who am I kidding, if Louisville left the court now they would still win this game. |

| Louisville has backed off the press a little. Maybe that is an indicator that Louisville is going to be merciful. Morehead coach Donnie Tyndall played for Pitano so maybe he has the Cardinals loosening up. In all reality it would take a 10-0 run or something like that for the Eagles to even have a prayer. |
