| Michigan fought hard to make for a physical game against the Sooners but the trio of Blake Griffin, Willie Warren, and Austin Johnson kept on scoring. Blake Griffin simply could not miss in the 2nd half. He had the first 6 points of a 10-2 Sooner run to open the 2nd half and just never looked back. DeShawn Sims and Manny Harris finished under their scoring averages. Foul trouble limited Harris to playing just over 20 minutes. By the time Harris got his points he also got his 5th foul. The same thing for C.J. Lee who helped Michigan pull within 3 points with 6 minutes to go. Anthony Wright finished shooting 5-for-7 with 14 points but had a quiet 2nd half. The Sooners just could not miss in the 2nd half and they'll be going to the Sweet 16 for the 4th time in the last 11 years. |

| Skip passing and long lobs cross-court extend Michigan's zone defense to the winding seconds of the 35 second shot clock. Griffin muscles over a undersized double team and gets a basket while drawing the 5th foul from C.J. Lee. That's one lost offensive option and there goes the other as Crocker draws ANOTHER charge from Manny Harris. That's Harris' 5th. 2 double-digit scorers will watch from the bench. |

| Blake Griffin is shooting a perfect 7-for-7 from the field. He also gets to the line and makes both free throws. Michigan is going with a 2-3 because it's been the most effective zone to contain Blake but Michigan is having trouble putting together solid possessions. They dribble out the shot clock and then throw the ball over the sideline. Oklahoma is spreading out and preventing Wright and Lee from spotting up behind the arc. |

| C.J. Lee hits a pair of three point jumpers and it's only a 3 point lead with an 8-0 Michigan run through 2 minutes. Taylor Griffin gets tangled up with the ball, he's stripped and he loses it to Anthony Wright. Douglass finds Sims with a killer backdoor cut to open up the paint. Manny Harris tries to get more on the baseline but Crocker takes the 2nd charge of the half. It's 10-3 in team fouls. |

| Michigan gets moving with a fast break but they can't finish and when you beat a team to the basket but can't score, you've given away the other basket to the other team. Crocker takes away the fast break and passes the stolen ball to Blake Griffin. Griffin goes to the basket with Zack Zovak standing right underneath the basket trying to take a charge. Griffin jumps around him with enough arm length to slam it through the nylon. Poster. |
