Glog (Live Commentary)
- Final
I have to admit, this was probably the best game of the day so far. Despite the Boilermakers never letting go of the lead, both teams played very hard and it made for an exciting basketball game. That's what March Madness is all about.
- Final
In all honesty, this game should probably be headed to overtime right now. Instead, a couple bonehead plays at the end of the game ruined the Huskies' chances. They had a very good run, but it was just not enough today.
- Final
The game is over and the Purdue Boilermakers will head to the Sweet Sixteen to take on the Connecticut Huskies. This was a great game with a very exciting finish. The Boilermakers did not give up the lead once in the game and secured the victory.
2nd Half - :14
Thomas had the ball for the Huskies with a timeout left to call. Instead, he tries to be the hero and heads to the bucket under serious pressure. Not even close. His selfishness may have just cost Washington the game.
2nd Half - :49
A couple of huge blocks and the Purdue defense just shut down the Huskies.
