| Well, it is mercifully over for George Washington, as they get drubbed by Vanderbilt. The Commodores throttled the Colonials by 33, as they advance on to the second round to play against Washington State on Saturday for a chance to advance to the Sweet 16. |

| David Rodriguez, a player who rarely logs any playing time, has quite a light moment at the stripe. The sophomore guard gets to the line and missed the first one on a rare chance for points. All of his teammates were cheering him on pulling for him to get a point in his first NCAA Tournament action. He hit the second one and everyone on the bench jumped up and cheered for him, as Rodriguez smiled. That has to feel good. |
