| The player of the game is, in my opinion, a future superstar in this sport. Marcelus Kemp, who very well may be Shawn Kemp's great grandson, had an amazing day and could lead his team to more victories in this tournament. He finishes with a double-double hitting 29 points and ten rebounds. Keep an eye on the Wolf Pack, they may turn some heads in round two against Memphis. |

| Now that's what I call a game! In one of the most exciting games of the first round, the Nevada Wolf Pack manage to slip by a very talented team in the Creighton Bluejays. The fans in attendance certainly got a treat as did I. I hope you did too. The Nevada win makes this the first year since 1993 where no tenth ranked teams advanced to the second round. |
