Glog (Live Commentary)
OSU 60 MSU 66 -
The Spartans, after jumping out to a 21-point lead in the first half, hang on for the win at home. It was a much-needed turn-around for these national title contenders. They were led by Neitzel and Kalin who each had 13 points in the game. Naymick alos contributed 11 points. Jamar Butler put in the best overall performance with 21 points and 7 helpers in a losing effort. He was the only Buckeye to reach double digits. Ohio State can take a lot out of this game despite the loss. Up next for the Spartans is a trip to Tubby Town to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday. Ohio State has a touch match-up at Tennessee on Saturday.
OSU 56 MSU 63 -
This game is in the bag. Ohio State simply couldn't convert. They didn't score on their last 3 possessions. They've still got a shot, because Mich. St. continue to fail at the line. I think it will be too little, too late.
OSU 56 MSU 62 -
The Buckeyes failed to convert on two opportunities in which they got stops, and must now resort to fouling just to stay in the game. Mich state has shot horribly from the line tonight however.
OSU 56 MSU 62 -
The ref under the basket just did a priouette, calling a kick ball, then having to turn to avoid kicking an Ohio State player in the face. It was kind of comical.
OSU 53 MSU 62 -
Jamar Butler knocks down a clutch triple to keep his team in the game. He leads all scorers with 17 points and has 4 assists to boot.
