I can't fathom why he would chance an inbound pass like that at this time, but nerves have gotten the best of the soon to be former top ranked Pittsburgh team. | With 9 missed free throws for the Cardinals already, a 4 point advantage could disappear in the blink of an eye. Samardo Samuels shows he can be depended on in the clutch and bangs home a pair to keep the lead at a still possible 4. A pair of terribly timed fouls and Pitino can hardly contain himself on the sideline. Blair makes it a one possession ballgame, but not nearly enough time to trade off fouls for shots. |

| The Pittsburgh defense gives the Cardinals all they have got, and it doesn't look like Louisville will get off a shot. A desperation deep toss from the birthday boy and no sign of panic with a 6 point lead as the end draws near. Still not out of the woods yet, but time ticks away with no foul in sight. Finally they stop the clock, but reality is setting in with the frantic fans smelling blood in the water. 64-58 Louisville looking to end the Pitt perfect season. |
