Amazing game here, where Clemson fell behind by 15 with under 17 minutes left before coming away with the win. A 22-3 run mid-way through the second half gave them a lead they would never give up. The Tigers pull off an 86-82 win.
2nd Half - 0:18
Allen only now draws his fourth foul, but it comes with Clemson already in the bonus and sends Potter to the line for a two shots. He makes the first and misses the second, but Rivers gets the offensive rebound. Allen has to give the foul after that, sending him to the bench the rest of the way.
2nd Half - 0:38
Delaney owned the first 24 minutes of the game, but Rivers has taken over since. He sinks a long jumper with his toe on the arc here to keep the Tigers in front by three with only seconds left. He now has 29 points on 10-of-16 shooting. The Hokies call a timeout to draw up the next play.
2nd Half - 1:23
Rivers has been the most effective from outside for the Tigers, but the team overall is 14-of-26 from beyond the arc. For most of the night, it kept them in the game. Now, after David Potter hits one from the top of the arc, it gives them a three-point lead.
2nd Half - 2:23
The last six meetings between these teams have been decided by a combined 12 points. The last two have gone to Clemson, both by one point. Virginia Tech led by as much as 15, Clemson by as much as six, but it's locked up tight in the late going here. Allen splits a pair of free throws here to give the Hokies an 80-78 lead.
