final - final
This one is over. The score really doesn't tell the story as far as how good this game was. Lawson had 19 points in the second half, and he really was the difference. Hansbrough and Ellington did not have their usual games, but Lawson made up for it. Duke had all their stars put up big numbers, but they went cold down the stretch, and against a good team like North Carolina, that will really hurt you. The final score tonight was 101-87 North Carolina on top.
2nd half - 1:00
That should do it. After two free throws by Carolina, Duke turned the ball over.
2nd half - 1:29
Carolina is not making things easy on themselves. The lead is at 8, after a quick turnover by Lawson, and then 2 free throws by Scheyer, and another Duke layup to follow it still probably isn't enough, but it's better than it was.
2nd half - 2:10
Duke is doing a good job on offense now, but it's just not enough. They simply can't stop Carolina. The lead is at 15, and this one is pretty much over.
2nd half - 3:17
Scheyer just hit a jumper to close the gap to 14, but I think it is too little too late.
