Postgame -
Oklahoma State beats Oklahoma for the first time this season and the first time in six attempts, earning a matchup against the winner of the Texas Tech-Missouri game coming up in mere minutes. Stick around for that contest.
2nd Half - 0:00
Eaton shows off his moves again when he slashes by defenders on his way to the rim. Although he doesn't make the layup, his dribble penetration causes the Sooners to foul to send Anderson to the line for two. Make one and its tied up. Make two and the Cowboys take the lead. Anderson makes them both and Oklahoma State pulls off the upset by a final score of 71-70.
2nd Half - 0:14
Oklahoma State stays in front by one after trading free throw attempts while Oklahoma calls a timeout to draw up the next play. Warren called the timeout while on the run with the ball in what looked like traveling, but the officials give him the stoppage. The play the Sooners come up with is a lob to Corker that results in a layup and an Oklahoma lead.
2nd Half - 0:47
Anderson misses a crucial free throw that would have given Oklahoma State the lead, but the Cowboys come back on the very next series when Eaton hits a pull-up jumper to put them in front by two. Eaton has been awesome in the second half and now has 15 points and seven assists.
2nd Half - 1:44
Eaton picks up a long rebound and then quickly throws up the court to find Anderson slashing to the rim for a dunk. That keeps the game tied, making it more and more likely that the game will be decided by the final shot. That would be an appropriate end to a back-and-forth, tightly contested game.
